Behavior Support Staff

The Behavior Support Specialist provides immediate, responsive, and trauma-informed behavioral support for students experiencing acute emotional or behavioral dysregulation. The primary objective of this role is to safely manage “in-the-moment” classroom crises, facilitate safe removals when necessary, and guide students through a structured de-escalation and reflection process so they can successfully reintegrate into the learning environment. This position works in direct coordination with the Behavior Interventionist to maintain a safe, predictable, and supportive school climate.
